This also happened to me when I updated my Business name, funnily enough it was the sameday I had upgraded to premium for free 30days trial sent the verification ID etc but still restricted :(

I'm having a similar issue. I work as a contractor for multiple clients through a consulting company. I used my company's email to open a LinkedIn account and verified my identity using my state ID. I had the "verified" tick sign on my profile, but within just two days it got restricted. I sent them my ID pics to the automated email I received, but the case got declined. I don't know what was the violation, I'm not able to use LinkedIn. This is really frustrating.

My login is restricted. My IP, information, Bank account for 'Gold' hasn't changed, I login daily. I received no email that my account was restricted or why. I do not wish to send a copy of my drivers license or Passport via the Internet. All my contact info is up to date. What is the reason for my account being restricted. If it is not to be lifted I would like a Download of my account, Data, Posts, Articles sent to my email and terminate autopayment and close my account. Thank you Regards Eddie Conroy

According to the LinkedIn help section, they can reopen your account if it's been closed less than 20 days.
Unfortunately, they are unable to reopen accounts closed for more than 20 days.
To reopen your account follow these steps:
  • on the login page, enter the email address that is registered to your LinkedIn account;
  • enter your password;
  • click Reactivate to initiate this process.

You should receive an email where you can confirm that you'd like to reopen your account. When reopening an account, you should get access to all your connections except:
  • group memberships;
  • followings (Influencers, Companies, etc.);
  • ignored and pending invitations endorsements and recommendations.

Company Page - Abloy India login ID and password ?

Our Company Page is Abloy India which was created by an employee in the past, we now do not have the log in ID and password for Abloy India Page. Please help to retrieve the credentials, as we are unable to invite people on page or neither are we able to do any other activity.

According to StackExchange, you must be an admin of the page. As you said you don't have any information, so only LinkedIn Support can help you. You should contact LinkedIn Support. Since this is a company page, you should have a company email address. Provide all the details in the description section with your official email id and request them to make you the admin of the page.

How can i see what premium accounts are being charged to a credit card?

We have multiple users utilizing our company credit card to pay for their linked in premium accounts., how can i see what each charge is associated with without having an account myself?

As stated at getmysupportnumber.com, the reasons why the LinkedIn account has been blocked are:
  • Profile by Entity Name (when the profile has the name of an institute, company or business);
  • Lots of Pending Requests (if you have sent many connection requests);
  • Multiple Profiles from the Same Device (LinkedIn policy states that you cannot create more than 2-3 profiles from a single device);
  • Messages with Repetitive Content (repetitive content may look like spam messages);
  • Exceeding Number of Connection Requests in a day (the number of connection requests sent in a day and the number of messages should not exceed the certain limit).

To get more information about your account or to recover it, please contact the LinkedIn support having provided the following information:
  • Enter your First name;
  • Enter your Last name;
  • Enter your email address which is associated with your account;
  • URL to the hacked LinkedIn profile;
  • Any additional details that will help LinkedIn to investigate.

How do I get my refund?

I was double billed for the premium service on Dec 9th and today, Dec 16th. I cancelled my premium membership around December 9th.

According to the 'How Do You Cancel LinkedIn Premium Subscriptions?' article posted on buffered.com, to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you should cancel at least a day before it starts.
As stated at linkedin.com, the company does not provide refunds on any fees or charges for Premium and pay-per-click products.

how can I reopen my account after it was closed by the system?

Around 2 weeks ago, I updated my account to Premier. shortly after that, I was asked to verified my ID.

I uploaded my Chinese ID card as instructed. the results is l can't open the Linkedin again.

According to LinkedIn Help, to verify your ID, you should provide the requested documents depending upon the reason. Please check out some details below:

For Unsupported ID type, please provide:
  • Driver's license
  • Government-issued ID card
  • Passport

For Illegible ID type:
  • A clear, complete, well-lit photo of your ID is required.

For No ID present in images type:
  • You should provide the correct images for verification. You should check out that the text is visible.

Unsupported Country ID: Y
  • our ID document is issued by the country they do not support

As stated on Quora, you can send the message with an invitation to connect. Besides, some people with LinkedIn Premium accounts allow others to send them free messages. You can also send a message to a person who is in the same group as you. You should go to this group and find a person you need and then click on the option to send a message next to his/her name.

Has this happened to anyone else? I retired last August and forgot to change the email address linked to my account to my personal email address.

All attempts to change the email adress has failed so when I contacts LinkedIn they referered me to a 3rd party, JustAnswer, and said there was a 1 x $5. fee but turns out there is also a $66. monthly fee.

All to change an email address from a no longer active address to my personal email address? What a joke!

I’ve tried and tried to access it…. the “help” facilities are non-existent now all I want to do is cancel it.
